Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo

First, season your chicken with salt and pepper. Next in a frying pan over medium high heat, add oil and cook your chicken for about 4 minutes. Then flip and optionally add 2 Tbsp butter and baste until fully cooked. 

Next, get pot of salted water to a boil. Cook fettuccine to packaged directions. Save some pasta water.

Next in medium sauce pan add your butter and cream over medium heat. Stir and cook until thickened, about 5 minutes. Then add Parmesan cheese, thyme and garlic. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Next add cooked pasta and stir until evenly coated. Add pasta water if needed to get desired consistency. 

Serve with sliced chicken and enjoy!
