A classic Shrimp Scampi recipe featuring linguini pasta, succulent shrimp, garlic, lemon, butter, white wine, and a hint of red pepper flakes, finished with fresh parsley.
Cook your linguini to packaged directions in salted water. Save pasta water. Next, season your shrimp generously with salt and set aside. In a frying pan, over medium high heat, add olive oil and 2 Tbsp butter. Add your shrimp. Sear for 2 minutes, then saute until cooked through. Remove from pan and set aside. To the same pan, add 2 Tbsp butter and your garlic. Saute until fragrant about 1-2 minutes and then add some red pepper flakes. Then, add your white wine, lemon juice and zest and let the alcohol cook off. Next, add 2 Tbsp butter while stirring constantly. Lastly add your cooked pasta and a splash of pasta water if necessary. Return your shrimp to the pan with a pinch of fresh parsley. To serve: Add a twirl of your pasta and a couple of your shrimp to a bowl. Garnish with parsley and enjoy!
